- Perform electromagnetic simulations to test and optimize quantum processor designs.
- Develop and refine EM structures to enhance coherence properties and coupling rates.

The selected person will be responsible for the day-to-day management of Nord Quantique’s laboratories — including maintenance, procurement, and process documentation — while supporting the technical teams to focus on their research and development activities.

Future needs
As Nord Quantique continues to expand, the Lab Manager role is expected to evolve toward supervising a small team of laboratory technicians. This future responsibility will include coordinating day-to-day activities, overseeing training and onboarding, and ensuring efficient resource allocation across projects.
Working in close collaboration with the Quantum Hardware team, the candidate will:
- Lead the setup, integration, and upgrade of experimental platforms (e.g., cryogenic systems, control electronics, assembly workstations, …).
- Oversee the organization, maintenance, and safety of laboratory spaces and shared equipment.
- Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance with vendors and internal teams.
- Manage inventory of components and consumables to ensure continuous lab operation.
- Contribute to the development and documentation of operational and safety procedures.
